A booking is only binding once confirmed by Wanderluxe Motorhomes Limited and a deposit of £250 of the total hire cost has been received. Full terms apply from this point.

The remaining balance is due six weeks prior to departure. Wanderluxe Motorhomes reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by this date.

For bookings made less than six weeks before departure, the full rental price is payable at the time of booking. Vehicles will not be released without full payment. Payment is accepted by bank transfer only.

• More than 6 weeks before departure — 25% of total hire cost or booking deposit (whichever is greater)
• 6 weeks or less before departure — 100% of total hire charge
• No Show — full hire charge, booking cancelled at close of business with no refund

A No Show is where the customer does not collect on the first day of the rental period and does not contact Wanderluxe Motorhomes in advance. Wanderluxe Motorhomes cannot postpone or transfer money between hires.

A refundable security deposit of £1,000 is payable by bank transfer only before collection. The deposit will be refunded within 7 working days of the vehicle being returned, provided there are no outstanding claims or damages.

Wanderluxe Motorhomes reserves the right to increase the deposit for certain circumstances including festivals, events, hirers travelling with pets, or hires carrying 4 or more adults.

Should damages or costs exceed the deposit value, the customer is responsible for settling all additional costs within 7 days of notification.

All drivers must be present at collection with their full valid licence and bank card for the security deposit.

The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and before the stated time, with:

• A full tank of diesel, AdBlue and gas
• Waste water tank emptied
• Toilet cassette emptied (no emptying facilities at depot)
• Interior clean and in the same condition as collection

Late return charge: £100 per hour. Additional valeting fee: £60 if not returned clean. Toilet cassette not emptied: £150 charge. Waste water tank not emptied: £80 charge.

The vehicle is insured for damage to the vehicle and third party property. Personal insurance for the customer and their possessions is not included.

The standard excess is £1,000 per accident, incident or theft. This is payable per claim, not per hire.

• Overhead damage (above 6ft/1.83m) is not covered — hirer is fully liable
• Windscreen and tyre damage is not covered by standard insurance
• Gross negligence is not covered — full repair costs will be charged
• Only drivers named on the rental agreement are insured

During the rental period the vehicle must not be:

• Driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Used for any race, rally, illegal purpose or to tow any vehicle or trailer
• Used to carry more passengers than permitted — this vehicle is licensed for 4 passengers
• Driven on unsealed or off-road surfaces
• Taken into salt water or submerged in water
• Smoked in — including vapes and e-cigarettes
• Used to carry volatile liquids, gases, explosives or flammable material
• Altered or modified in any way without prior written consent

All Wanderluxe Motorhomes vehicles run on DIESEL only. Using incorrect fuel will result in full repair costs being charged.

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of diesel, AdBlue and gas. It is the hirer's responsibility to replenish these throughout the hire and return them full.

Diesel refill charges if not returned full:

• ¾ to full — £75
• ½ to ¾ — £90
• ¼ to ½ — £120
• Empty to ¼ — £140

Pets may be permitted subject to prior written consent and an increased security deposit. If permitted:

• Pets must not be left unattended in the vehicle
• Pets are not allowed on soft furnishings, beds or upholstery
• Vehicle must be returned as if a pet was never present
• Minimum cleaning charge of £100 if pet hairs are found
• Hirer is liable for all damage caused by a pet, even if it exceeds the deposit

In the event of any accident, loss or damage you must:

• Notify Wanderluxe Motorhomes within 24 hours
• Obtain names and addresses of all third parties and witnesses
• Report the event to the nearest police station
• Complete the accident claim form provided
• Not make any admission of liability to other parties

The excess is payable at the time of reporting, not at the end of the rental period, regardless of fault.

Travel to Ireland incurs a mandatory additional charge of £10 per night for Ireland cover including roadside assistance. Maximum charge term is 21 nights. Travelling to Ireland without this cover is a breach of these terms and conditions.

Points on licence: £2.00 per point, per night (UK licences only).

Administration fee: £25 per amendment to a confirmed booking or per penalty charge notice received.

Hire rates quoted include limited mileage (dependent on hire length), UK standard vehicle insurance, and UK standard equipment and breakdown cover. All prices quoted are gross prices.

• Insurance loading may apply if a driver has a traffic conviction, more than one insurance claim, or works in a high-risk occupation — any additional charge is passed on to the customer
• Full breakdown cover is provided for mechanical faults to the base chassis. Call-outs caused by operator error — a flat battery, wrong or insufficient fuel, keys locked inside — are the hirer's responsibility

You acknowledge receiving the vehicle in a clean condition and sound working order, in line with the Motorhome Handover Checklist, with a full diesel tank. No refund is given if you cease to have use of the vehicle before the return date for any reason — including accident, weather, theft or damage.

We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to substitute a comparable vehicle. You will not be liable for any increased rental cost as a result, and this does not constitute a breach of the agreement or entitle you to a refund. Should you wish to change your booked motorhome, we will try to accommodate the request subject to availability — a higher daily rate becomes payable by you, while a lower rate does not result in a refund.

Every motorhome undergoes a full Pre-Checkout Inspection before your hire begins, testing all onboard systems. You'll be taken on a tour and shown how everything works.

Should a system fail during your hire, we will make every effort to remedy the fault while you're away, but this may not always be possible. No refunds will be given for loss of service, and we are not obliged to provide a replacement vehicle. We are not responsible for any consequential losses or costs arising from a system failure. In winter hires, we are not responsible for damage or inconvenience caused by freezing conditions — this is the hirer's responsibility.

In addition to rental charges and the security deposit, you may be liable for:

• Administration fee of £25 per amendment or penalty charge notice
• LPG refill charges per tank — ¾ to full: £22, ½ to ¾: £32, ¼ to ½: £42, empty to ¼: £52
• Late return fee of £100 per hour
• The cost of any damage to the vehicle or third-party property, subject to insurance
• The insurance excess for damage involving third-party property or theft — applies per claim, not per hire
• All government fees, duties, parking fines and penalties incurred during the rental period
• Demurrage — the nightly rental rate for the period the vehicle is off fleet, e.g. for accident repairs
• Any additional costs above the security deposit should damages exceed its value
• The cost to recover the vehicle, if required

In cases of gross negligence, we reserve the right to recover the full cost of returning the motorhome to the condition in which it was handed over.

Total charges set out in the agreement are not final. You agree to pay any shortfall in charges, and will receive a refund for any overcharge acknowledged by Wanderluxe Motorhomes Limited.

Vehicles may only be driven on sealed or bitumen roads. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict vehicle movement in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions, or any other reasonable cause.

No alterations or additions may be made to the vehicle without our prior written consent.

Wanderluxe Motorhomes Limited retains title to the vehicle and its contents at all times — you possess the vehicle as a bailee only, and may not sell, assign, sublet, lend, pledge, mortgage or otherwise part with it.

Each vehicle is authorised to carry a stated number of passengers, all of whom must use the safety restraints provided while the vehicle is in motion. Children up to 12 years old or 135cm in height (whichever comes first) must use the correct child restraint under UK law. Carrying more than the permitted number of passengers breaches this agreement.

To obtain insurance cover we require proof of address documents, including your driving licence, a utility bill and one further approved document. Hire cannot commence without this documentation.

The vehicle insurance is arranged through Alan Boswell Group and covers theft and damage to the vehicle or third-party property — it does not cover personal injury, death, or personal possessions. In the event of theft, the hirer is liable for the full cost of the vehicle until the claim is settled with the insurer and the keys returned; failure to return the keys means the insurer will not accept the claim.

You will have no insurance cover, and will be responsible for the total cost of any damage, if you breach any term of this agreement or the damage results from gross negligence.

You must take reasonable steps to maintain the vehicle, including checking oil, coolant, AdBlue and tyre pressure. Running the engine oil, coolant or AdBlue empty and causing engine damage is at your cost.

Reasonable expenditure up to £40 for mechanical failures to the drivetrain and engine (not water system, refrigerator, heating, audio or DVD equipment) may be reimbursed with prior consent and receipts, provided the fault isn't due to your negligence. Tyre repair or replacement costs may also be reimbursed under the same conditions, provided CDW cover was taken out.

Diesel put into the fresh water tank incurs a £1,000 surcharge to replace the system.

All charges and expenses under this agreement are due on demand. Late payment accrues interest at 1.5% per month above the Barclays Bank base rate on the outstanding balance, plus any recovery costs including reasonable legal fees.

Where the customer comprises more than one person, each person is jointly and severally liable for all obligations under this agreement.

We may terminate this agreement and repossess the vehicle at any time without notice, at your cost including towing charges, if: you breach any term of the agreement; the vehicle was obtained through fraud or misrepresentation; any statement made about yourself or additional drivers is incorrect; the vehicle appears abandoned; it is not returned on the agreed date; or we reasonably believe passenger safety or vehicle condition is at risk. In these circumstances you are not entitled to a refund of any rental charges or the security deposit.

Subject to our obligation to deliver the vehicle or a suitable substitute, you release Wanderluxe Motorhomes Limited, its employees and agents from liability for loss or damage arising from breakdown, mechanical defect, accident, unsuitability of the vehicle, or property left in or on the vehicle or on our premises. You agree to indemnify us against any claims, demands or expenses arising from your use or possession of the vehicle.

• Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties
• If the reserved motorhome becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control and no acceptable alternative can be provided, our liability is limited to a refund of all monies paid
• You warrant that all information supplied to us is true
• This agreement is governed by the law of Great Britain
• This agreement is the entire agreement between the parties — we reserve the right to amend vehicle specifications and rental charges without prior notice, and it does not affect your statutory rights
